This smoothie is not your traditional kind. We blanch most raw vegetables and add warm water to remove te cold essence from uncooked foods.  By doing this, the digestive system is nurtured and able to absorb the essence of the foods you include. 

Yields1 Serving
 1 apple, diced
 Handful of berries
 Handful of spinach, blanched
 1 teaspoon of honey
 2-3 fresh dates
 1/3 cup of warm water

Blanch the spinach. Strain and add it to the blender.
Add the remaining food ingredients to the blender.

Add the warm water and blend.
Note: If you prefer, you can warm up coconut water instead of plain water.
