SPROUTS IN A WRAP

 

Sprouts symbolize new life. eat them regularly to support healthy Liver function and give your overall body a boost.

Yields1 Serving
 2 tablespoons of grated ginger
 2 teaspoons of salt
 4 tablespoons of olive oil
 1 pack of radish sprouts
 1 pack of clover sprouts, or other sprouts of choice
 ½ cup freshly chopped basil
 1 apple julienne cut
 1 tablespoon of diced ginger
 ¼ cup of pine nuts
 Package of wraps or crackers
 Optional: Add slices of Cucumbers for crunch

Combine grated ginger, salt and 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Set aside.

Place the sprouts in a bowl and add the basil and apple slices. Toss and set aside.

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok or pan.
Stir in the diced ginger and add the pine nuts.
Toast until golden.

Pour this hot mixture over the sprouts and toss.

Next, pour the cold ginger mixture over the sprouts.

Spoon into a warp and serve!

Option: Add Mayonnaise to your wrap along with hot sauce!

You can use mung bean sprouts too!
