Spicy Walnuts
Yields1 Serving
 2-3 cups walnuts
 1 egg white
 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
 1/2 teaspoon sugar
 1 teaspoon salt
 2 cloves garlic, diced

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.

Beat together the egg white, salt, pepper and garlic.

Toss over the walnuts.

Spread the nuts in a single layer on a sheet pan covered with parchment paper.

Toast in oven for 20 minutes.

  1. 1 tsp. of salt probably would be enough. I found 1 tablespoon to be too much and could barely eat more than 4-5 walnuts as they were too salty for my taste.

  2. You are right! 1 teaspoon is plenty!
