ROASTED NUTS

Roasting nuts releases a healing essence. Unroasted nuts are considered raw and take energy for the body to digest.

Heat the oven to 350 degrees.

Shake the tray a few times to ensure nuts roast evenly.
You'll smell a nutty fragrance when they're done!

3

Pine nuts cook quickly so we suggest using a frying pan or wok.
Add 1 teaspoon of oil to a cold wok and add the pine nuts.
Shake the pan to prevent the nuts from burning.

Walnuts and cashews toast well together while almonds and hazelnuts take a bit longer.

5

Be creative. Make a mixture of your favorite nuts and munch on them all week. Add some dried cranberries or apricots for a sweet taste.
