PERSIMMON WITH PLUMS AND WALNUTS

 

Persimmons and plums support the digestive system. Be sure to eat this in fall as it also helps to prevent seasonal coughs and colds.

 2 persimmon, peeled and chopped
 2 plums, chopped
 1/2 cup walnuts, toasted
 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon or nutmeg

Warm persimmons, and plums in a saucepan with 1/4 cup water over medium heat. Simmer until the fruits are soft and begin to break down.

Add the cinnamon or nutmeg and mix well.

Top with toasted walnuts.
