Persimmons and pears are autumn-favorite fruits. Persimmons help to release heat and pears help to moisten the Lungs. Together they support healthy Lung and Stomach function.

 1 persimmon, peeled and chopped
 1 red pear, cored and chopped
 Handful of toasted walnuts

In a saucepan of boiling water, add the persimmons and pears.
Lower the heat so the fruit is just slightly warmed.

Remove and place in a bowl. Top with toasted walnuts or add the fruit to barley cereal.
