HUMMUS
Hummus is a versatile dish that has become a favorite of vegetarians. It can be a quick meal of crackers and soup, or as a dip, sauce or spread.
1 can of garbonzo beans (chick peas), rinsed
1 clove of garlic
1 lemon, juiced
1 Tablespoon of tahini
salt to taste
Optional: Olive oil

Put all ingredients in a blender.

Blend on high until mixture is smooth and creamy.

Add more lemon or salt to taste.

If mixture is too thick add a bit of water.

Serve adding a drizzle of olive oil if you like.

Note: Increasing the amount of lemon will cut down on the amount of salt you need to use.
