Bok choy is a member of the cabbage family, and renowned in Traditional Chinese Medicine for its various health benefits. It is considered to have cooling effect on the body, helping to reduce excess heat and inflammation. It also promotes digestive health and with its high water content, helps to hydrate the body and support kidney function.

 String beans, washed and trimmed
 4 teaspoons of oil
 2 teaspoons of salt
 6 slivers of thinly sliced ginger
 1 teaspoon of mushroom seasoning
 Bok choy, rinsed and cut into 1 inch pieces
 1 clove of garlic
 1 teaspoon of soy sauce

Slice ginger into thin strips.

Heat the wok and add 2 teaspoons of oil, salt and the ginger strips.

Next add the string beans and 1/2 teaspoon of mushroom seasoning.
Sauté for 2 minutes or until desired tenderness.

Remove the beans and plate them.
Drizzle a splash of soy sauce over the plated green beans.

Rinse and dry the wok.
Add 2 teaspoons of oil, salt and garlic.

Add the bok choy and toss then add 1/2 teaspoon of mushroom seasoning.
Sauté for 2 minutes or until the desire consistency.
Plate and serve.
