Onions are the perfect food to detoxify the body. Adding cucumbers is an added bonus for the taste buds and the body!

 1 English cucumber, sliced
 1 red or yellow onion, thinly sliced
 1 clove garlic, chopped
 2 teaspoon salt
 2 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
 5 basil leaves chopped

Add the onion slices to a bowl with 1 teaspoon of salt and let stand ten minutes

Meanwhile, add the sliced cucumber to a mixing bowl.

Top with garlic, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Toss well.

Add apple cider vinegar and basil. Toss well. Serve immediately.
