CLARE’S GO-TO BREAKFAST
Warm fruit brings a healing essence to the digestive system. When adding warming herbs such as cinnamon or cardamon, Stomach function is supported. The addition of roasted walnuts offers additional support for Kidney energy.
2 apples or pears
1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
Handful of roasted walnuts
Optional: cardamon, raisins, ginger, honey, ghee

Add 1/2 cup of water to a small pot.
Add the apples or pears.
Allow to cook for 2 minutes or until tender.

Add your spice of choice and the roasted walnuts to the pot and stir.
Remove from the stove and plate.

Make extra for a topping to oatmeal or barley cereal.
