BROCCOLINI AND FRUIT SALAD

In traditional Chinese medicine broccolini supports Liver function and detoxification, while fruits provide a variety of benefits such as supporting digestion and aiding moisture to the body.

 1 package of broccolini, cut into strips leaving the flowers on the stems
 1/4 teaspoon of salt
 1/4 cup of oil
 1 garlic clove, minced
 1/8 cup of oil
 1 mandarin orange, peeled into segments
 1 kiwi, cut into bite-size chunks
 1/2 tomato, diced

Heat wok and add oil, salt and garlic.

Add broccolini and toss until tender or broccolini turns a bright green.

Add wine. Mix gently allowing flavors to mix for 1 minute.

Remove from wok and add to a plate.

Wash wok then reheat adding 1/8 teaspoon of oil.

Add tomatoes and stir for 30 seconds. Add tangerines and kiwi.

Stir for about 1 minute or until the fruit is slightly heated.

Place on a plate either over broccolini or as a side dish.

Optional: Add pine nuts to the broccolini for diversity. You can also substitute with broccoli.
