The healing Qi of these foods are sent directly to your Heart, which they strengthen and help heal. The healing essence of the broccoli goes directly to the Heart. Broccoli rabe actually decreases internal heat and helps prevent heart disease.

Yields1 Serving
 1 Quart of boiling water
 1 Bunch of broccoli rabe, washed
 2 Tablespoons of olive oil
 1 Clove of garlic, chopped
 1 teaspoon of salt
 1/2 teaspoon of sugar

Trim the ends of the broccoli and place in boiling water for one minute.

Remove from the water, and set aside.

Heat your wok or frying pan and add the oil, salt and garlic.
Allow the garlic to turn light brown.

Add the broccoli to the pan and lightly stir fry adding the sugar.

Place on a serving platter and enjoy.

Note: For diversity, you can add a plum tomato sauce on top.
