Trim the ends of the broccoli and place in boiling water for one minute.
Remove from the water, and set aside.
Heat your wok or frying pan and add the oil, salt and garlic.
Allow the garlic to turn light brown.
Add the broccoli to the pan and lightly stir fry adding the sugar.
Place on a serving platter and enjoy.
Note: For diversity, you can add a plum tomato sauce on top.
