  1. Comment *I don’t see lotus seed on the list of ingredients but it says to add it with the barley.

Also, when do I add the lily bulb?

  2. Comment *I”ve never used Lily bulb before, what should I look for in purchasing them and where can I get them? Is it just the garden lily bulb? or is there a food appropriate one?

  3. Comment *i have the same two questions above.

  4. Comment *Can this be made with mung beans instead of barley, for those of us with gluten allergy?

    • I went to multiple gluten websites when I first discover Job’s tears. This is one that I used the http://www.gluten.guide -you can also just google are they gluten free. I’m gluten-free , seriously sensitive but never diagnosed as celiac. I’ve tried them and have never bothered me. They’re delicious, a bit chewy almost like a pearl pasta but with a firmer texture and hearty flavor. Mary C Comment *
