BAKED ACORN SQUASH

Acorn squash enjoys a long growing season and therefore connects with numerous elements in Nature. The seeds drop into the Earth in preparation of future life. If you are eating for consciousness, this will help you project into the future with hope. Your digestive system will also thank you!

Yields3 Servings
 1 acorn squash
 1 tbsp of oil
 1 tsp of cinnamon
 1 tbsp of brown sugar
 1/4 tsp of salt
1

Slice most of the skin off of the pumpkin, to make it easier to cut. Then cut it into 2 inch pieces and add it to a bowl.

2

Add 1 tbsp of oil, and the brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon into the bowl and mix.

3

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Add the pumpkin slices to a pan and start to bake.

4

Prepare your base of choice - barley, mung beans, or oatmeal are a few options.

5

Prepare optional topping. We used sliced persimmon, nuts, maple syrup, and oil, because it's fall!

6

When the squash is partially baked, add the topping and bake until there's a crisp.
