
APPLE PLUM BREAKFAST
This sweet and sour mixture is a good way to wake-up your digestive system. By adding the pine nuts, Kidney Qi is also supported.

½ green apple cut into slivers
1 plum cut into slivers
Handful of pinenuts
Optional: Left over barley cereal or grain of choice
½ teaspoon of cinnamon
2 strips of ginger, minced
Dash of vanilla

In a large bowl add the apples and plums. Sprinkle with ginger, and cinnamon and toss well.

Add the pine nuts or nuts of choice and toss. Add the vanilla and toss again.

Optional: This mixture is great over leftover barley or or mung beans. Oatmeal is another way to enjoy this meal.

Option: If you prefer a warm breakfast, add the entire mixture along with 2 teaspoons of water to a small pot and heat for 1 minute.
