CHINESE BARLEY WITH ALMONDS

  1. Is there a substitute grain for the Chinese Barley/Job’s Tears?

  2. I am allergic to gluten. On the internet, it said that Chinese Barley was gluten free. I went to an Asian market in town and they did not have anything labeled “Chinese Barley”, they only had “Pearl Barley”. I looked up on line, and it says that pearl barley has gluten. Your picture looks like the product that I bought, but I am afraid to get a reaction. Do you happen to know if “Chinese Barley” is called by any other names? Thank you!
