Combining almonds with Chinese barely in a warming soup is an awesome way to support the body. Chinese barley has been studied as a cancer preventative. Chinese barley helps support the digestive system while almonds contribute to healthy Lung function. This meal is also helpful in resolving constipation issues.

 1 Cup of barley-rinsed
 3 Cups of water
 1 Cup of almond milk
 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
 Handful of toasted almonds

Rinse barley well then add to a pot of boiling water.
Let simmer for 15 minutes.

Add the almond milk and allow the mixture to cook until tender.
About 30 minutes.

Add cinnamon and mix.

Spoon the barley into a bowl and add toasted almonds as a topping.

Optional: Sweeten with honey.
