
OATMEAL WITH WALNUTS
Support digestion and balance your Qi with this TCM inspired oatmeal recipe, featuring walnuts and goji berries to nourish the Spleen, Stomach, and Kidney.

1 cup of boiling water
½ cup of oatmeal
45 finely chopped walnuts
1 banana, sliced
1 Tablespoon of honey or maple syrup (optional)

Add the walnuts to the boiling water. Allow to cook for 1 minutes.

Then add the oatmeal. Stir and allow to simmer. Cooking time will depend on the kind of oatmeal you chose. Please see package for correct time.

When creamy, spoon into a bowl and top with a banana, maple syrup or honey.
Sprinkle additional chopped walnuts on top!
