It’s not an accident that every culture has dance, just like every culture has wine. Dance has always been associated with Qi and spirit. When you let yourself go and dance freely, your energy flows naturally, stimulating your inner Qi—making dancing a natural form of energy practice.

Dancing with your entire soul allows you to flow outside your mind into a time and space where nothing matters but joy, connecting you to the healing vibration of Nature’s energy and Universal Qi.

Here’s a simple way to make the most of this natural form of Qi movement: During the next full moon, stand outside. Look up and see the moon’s beauty. Think about the power the moon holds. It has the power to control the tides of the ocean every month. You are a being of Nature, fused into its being. You are connected to the power and the energy contained in the moon. Feel this power. Feel the moon’s light and it’s energy. Now put on your favorite music. Let yourself go and just dance.

Or, in the words of Edward Lear:

“And hand in hand, on the edge of the sand,
They danced by the light of the moon,
The moon,
The moon,
They danced by the light of the moon.”
