Summer Solstice Qigong Practice

Feel the expansive energy of the summer solstice!

Solstice is derived from the Latin words sol, meaning “sun,” and sistere, meaning “to stand still.” Summer solstice is the day when the sun reaches its highest point in the sky. This first official day of summer in the Northern Hemisphere also has the longest period of daylight—a day in which the sun seems to simply stand still. Our sun has the power and energy to move ocean waves and warm our planet. Without it, there would be no life on Earth. Not to mention, without the sun, Earth would lose its orbit. We’d be lost in space!

Because of the centering power of the sun, the summer solstice is an incredibly energetic day. You are invited to attend our Nationwide practice where people from all over the world will be holding the meditative posture, The Dragon Stands Between Heaven and Earth. Be part of this powerful energy field and feel the uplifting effect. You’ll be glad you did.
Monday, June 20, 6:15 p.m. Practice will start promptly at 6:30 p.m.
