The Power of Prevention

Huangdi Neijing (The Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Medicine) is known as the bible of Chinese medicine. It explains that the best doctors never deal with illness and disease. Instead they help create a body with balance and harmony that will stay healthy as long as energy flows freely. When your body is in balance and harmony, disease cannot enter.

Chinese medicine believes that everything is energy, all energy has consciousness, and all consciousness has a purpose. These principles are part of Natural Law, which is the foundation of Chinese medicine. The quality and quantity of your practice are also important for energy healing.

Today people are desperate for ways to protect themselves from viruses and disease, which is why our priority is prevention. Understanding these concepts means approaching health from a different perspective rather than just dealing with illness and disease.

Look Deep Inside the Healing Concept

Taking this path involves understanding how Chinese medicine views health and healing. Through meditation and deep Qigong practice, ancient masters sought a way to achieve inner energy processing. Through this spiritual journey, they discovered a path that could connect human beings to the Universe. They realized the human body is essential for this connection. As the body is the house of your temple, it must be kept clean.

When we realize our bodies are a part of the Universe, we too can make this connection. However, we cannot create this connection through our minds. Each one of us must use our Hearts to connect to love and to God. The energy of the Heart is beyond the physical.

Everything must connect to the spiritual concept, which is why Chinese medicine emphasizes the body–mind–spirit relationship. Without the Spirit, you are dying. No Spirit, no life, no Qi. The Spirit is the first and most important thing for a doctor to recognize. Does the patient still have hope? Where is their Spirit? If it is still there, there is hope. The practitioner can stimulate Qi and allow the body to meet the requirement for healing.

Natural Law’s Three Foundational Principles

Once practitioners understand the part Spirit plays in health and healing, they must use Natural Law and three fundamental concepts to help people with their health issues.

  1. YIN-YANG PRINCIPLE

The Yin–Yang principle is a modern science theory which states that every particle has an antiparticle, and positive and negative exist at the same time.

2. FIVE ELEMENT CONSCIOUSNESS FRAMEWORK

The Five Element Consciousness Framework is a blueprint that organizes all aspects of Nature and the Universe by categories related to the five elements of Nature—Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. Energy interrelationships exist within each category and as a group. The framework also shows how Nature interacts with the human body. Each category is related to the body’s five major organ systems. Through their interconnected relationships, these systems understand how to cooperate with each other.

3. MERIDIAN ENERGY NETWORK

The meridian energy network exists within the body and puts the energies of the body, mind, and Spirit together. Today, there are 14 major meridians, but many more have yet to be discovered. This energy network can help the body restore health and connect to each individual’s genetic code. The meridians are not only an energy path, but also a consciousness path. Because they can connect to all of our consciousness and Spirit, they have no time, no space. All healing miracles happen at the meridian level.

Conditions that are serious and difficult to fix can arise when meridians are damaged. For example, during breast cancer surgery, if cancer cells are found in the lymph nodes, they are often taken out. After this procedure, the arm will often retain fluid. The meridians are supposed to deal with this function at a basic level, but damaging them impacts the physical body. The patient cannot just take medication to release the water.

These powerful meridians are the reason why acupuncture can be so beneficial. The body has many energy points and gates. When stimulated, it gives the body a chance to send a signal along the meridians to say, “Hey guys, wake up and work together. Your help is needed.” If acupuncture is not available, people can learn how to use acupressure.

A Focus on Prevention

Although these three major concepts have been used in Chinese medicine for thousands of years, the same methods are still followed. The principles of Yin-Yang, Five Element Consciousness, and the body’s meridians can be applied to modern health situations to achieve lasting health.

The most effective approach is not to fight with conditions but rather to treat the human body at the highest level by focusing on prevention. This involves taking action before illness and disease become an issue. Prevent now for a healthy future.
