The sun and moon are two cosmic beings in the Universal picture. The sun, our greatest source of heat and light, surrounds us with its abundant energy. The moon, which has the greatest influence on the ocean tides, brightens the night sky with its heavenly glow. But this energy doesn’t just surround us, it is infused within us. It is part of the very fibers of our being. If we can connect to that energy, as we are intended to, just think of the possibilities that can unfold.
This event—when the moon completely blocks the light of the sun—is a wonderful opportunity to connect to that energy field.
On August 21,2017, a total solar eclipse will be visible in the United States from west to east coast—the first time since 1918. During this event, the moon will completely cover the sun, casting a shadow on Earth. Daylight will turn into darkness for just a few minutes.
Millions of people across the United States will gather with their special glasses to view this incredible event. The path of the eclipse will begin in Oregon at 9:06 am PT. It will then travel through parts of Idaho, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, and finally South Carolina. Those along this path will be in the darkest part of the shadow, and will therefore have the clearest view of the eclipse—all 2 minutes and 40 seconds of it. People in other parts of North America, as well as areas of Central and South America, will be in the lighter parts of the shadow. They will see a partial solar eclipse.
In preparation for this celestial event, follow these tips:
- Be Peaceful: You are part of the Universe, so everything that happens in the galaxy has an affect on you. So, this weekend, just as the moon is approaching the sun, spend your time being peaceful.
- Protect Your Eyes: Your eyes are the window to your soul. So on the day of the event, remember to wear protective glasses.
- Meditate or Practice to Receive Messages: Wherever you are during the time of the total solar eclipse, sit in quiet meditation or hold the Qigong posture, ‘The Dragon Stands Between Heaven and Earth.’ Doing so will help you connect with this infinite Universal power. You never know what messages are being sent and what “information” you will receive.
- Be Observant—Starting Today: Watch the animals. Notice how their patterns begin to change. Are birds chirping louder than usual or is Nature suddenly quiet. Be in tune with Nature on the day of the event as well. What happens when Earth goes dark for that short period of time. How does Nature adjust to this Universal shift? Remember, we are all energy beings—infinitely connected to the Universe. How do Universal changes affect you?
