TOASTED BUCKWHEAT

Eating kasha is just another way to support the Stomach function. This organ function shares a unique relationship with the Kidney. This recipe will support your body through a cozy winter.

 1/4 cup toasted buckwheat
 1/2 cup milk or almond milk
 Dash of cinnamon
 Maple syrup to taste

Rinse the buckwheat and add it to a pot with the milk and cinnamon. Bring it to a boil and cook until the liquid absorbs.

Once it's done cooking you are ready to plate. Top the kasha with maple syrup, and a crunchy topping. We used honey sesame cashews from Trader Joe's.
