
SYLVIA’S BROCCOLI RABE
The bitterness of broccoli rabe clears stagnation , while onions are warming and support the digestive system. Together they help the body process heavier foods more easily.
1 bunch of broccoli rabe, cute into 2 inch chunks
½ onion, sliced thin
2 tbsp of oil
1 tsp of butter
12 cloves of garlic
1 tsp of salt
½ tsp of mushroom seasoning
1/4 tsp of sugar

Heat the wok and add 1 tablespoon of oil and the onion strips. Cook until tender, then add the butter and allow the onions to turn slightly golden. Remove and set aside.

Rinse the wok, then add the remaining oil, salt and garlic.

Add the broccoli and toss for about 1 minute then add the mushroom seasoning and sugar.

Continue to toss for another 2 minutes or until tender.

Stir in the onion mixture and serve.
