SPICED FRUIT

Warming fruit is soothing to the digestive system.  The spices help add warmth to the body. Brown sugar also has a warming essence. 

Yields1 Serving
 1/2 apple, skinned and sliced
 1/2 pear, skinned and sliced
 3 dried apricots, cut in half
 1 tsp cinnamon
 1 tsp lemon juice
 1/2 tsp vanilla
 Ground cloves to taste or star anise
 1 tbsp butter
 1/2 tsp brown sugar
 Optional: Add 2 teaspoons of your favorite ground nut
 2 tsp water

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix all the ingredients in a baking dish and bake for 20 minutes.

Then you're ready to serve.
