
MUNG BEAN MORNING TOAST
These funny little green beans have been revered for their medicinal and culinary virtues for thousands of years in China and Southeast Asia. Mung beans are one of the most powerful foods that benefit your health all-around.
1/4 cup uncooked mung beans, rinsed
Heaping tbsp of butter, softened
1/2 tsp mushroom powder
Black sesame seeds
Sesame oil
2 slices of bread

Rinse the beans and add them to 1 and 1/4 cup water. Bring to a boil and cook until softened.

Add the mung beans to a bowl with the butter and mushroom powder. Mash with a fork to combine, this will take a minute or two.

Spread the mixture onto the toasted bread. Add sesame seeds and sesame oil to taste.
