
BROCCOLI RABE WITH PINE NUTS
Pine nuts are great for the Kidney, and the green color is energizing for the Liver. The bitter taste supports your Heart function.

1 bunch of Broccoli Rabe, cut into 2 inch pieces
3 Cloves of garlic, minced
2 Tablespoons of oil
½ Cup of pine nute
1 Teaspoon of salt
56 Shitake mushrooms, sliced in half
⅓ Teaspoon of mushroom seasoning
Splash of wine-optional

Heat the wok or pan then add the oil, garlic, salt and pine nuts. Toss until the nuts are lightly golden.

Add the broccoli rabe and mushrooms to the pan and toss. Add the mushroom seasoning. Continue to toss until the greens turn a vibrant green. (Typically 3 minutes).

Add a splash of cooking wine. and serve with rice or over pasta.

Note: In some instances, the broccoli may be tough. If so, add a cover to the pan for up to 1 minute.
