
APPLE GOJI BERRY SOUP
In Traditional Chinese Medicine Goji berries are indeed considered a superfood, particularly for their ability to nourish both the Heart and Kidneys. dding apple enhances digestion, benefiting the Spleen and Stomach.

1-2 apples
Handful of goji berries
1 cup of hot water
1 teaspoon of honey
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
1 slice of ginger
Optional: 2 teaspoons of maple syrup

Core the apple(s), and place it in a baking dish.

In a small bowl mix the remainder of the ingredients. Pour over the apple(s) and bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until desired tenderness. Eat warm.
