If so, join us for an extraordinary journey into metabolism function with Grand Master Nan Lu—spiritual leader, Qigong master, TCM practitioner and clinical associate professor at Stony Brook University.
Today, more than 47 million people are affected by conditions related to metabolic syndrome, including diabetes, heart disease and high blood pressure. Why are these conditions so challenging to treat? Often, traditional treatment approaches—Western or Eastern—don’t work. Maybe it’s time to see the same situation through different eyes .
The priceless wisdom of this unprecedented series opens a door to a new worldview of health and healing that goes far beyond symptom treatment and management. It reveals a new path where practitioners and patients can co-create optimum health. It also allows practitioners to build a solid foundation for a multidimensional understanding of how to approach any condition, especially those of metabolic syndrome.
Healthy metabolism function is a multi-organ, multidimensional job that goes beyond biochemical processes. It requires different organ systems to cooperate at the body, mind and spirit levels. This session lays the foundation for a deeper appreciation of the role of the body’s Oneness and consciousness. It covers how two systems—the body’s visible “hardware” and its invisible “software”—need to function in harmony for good health. As Einstein’s relativity theory tells us: when we change our angle of view, we see different things, and often can achieve different outcomes.
From what I’ve learned from my master, from my beliefs, and from results my patients have achieved, I’ll share why and how integrative practitioners can look at the body’s interrelationships with a quantum framework in use for thousands of years. These insights can help you appreciate the mystery of metabolism function and its ultimate purpose of digesting the universe. The main requirements are an open mind and heart, and a willingness to appreciate that spirit is unlimited.
Today, modern science tells us that everything is energy, including human beings. Scientists use the term “energy,” or force, to describe their understanding of this phenomenon; ancient spiritual masters called this force “Qi.” The meaning of Qi is profound. It encompasses not only power to move something, but additional aspects of consciousness, information, purpose and the unconditional love of the Universe. Qi shows itself at the body-mind-spirit level. In this session, participants explore the ancient understanding of energy as well as Einstein’s iconic theory—E=mc²—the interchangeability of matter and energy as different forms of the same thing. The session explores the body’s inherent skill to transfer energy and matter, like Qi and blood, or transform conditions like cysts or tumors back into energy.
All energy has consciousness and all consciousness has purpose. The fundamental principles that open the gate to a far larger framework of the nature of being human also incorporate spirit’s role. With the help of the ancient Five Element consciousness framework, I’ll explain how all the body’s parts are interrelated through Qi.
Within the body, there is a vital triangle of organ systems—Spleen/Stomach, Liver/Gallbladder, Kidney/Urinary Bladder—that must cooperate for unimpaired digestive function, the root of lasting health. Each organ must work multidimensionally on its own. Then it needs to cooperate smoothly with its partner organ and the other organs it supports and nourishes. This session discusses these key organ systems and how they impact a healthy digestive system.
The body’s digestive system is responsible for processing food as well as emotions and information. Viewing it from this perspective helps us appreciate the responsibilities it has to shoulder. Gaining energy to digest what the body chooses to accept involves multiple organs as well as an understanding of the mind’s energetic frequencies and spirit’s purpose.
This session journeys into the realm of food and how food really heals the body on multidimensional levels. It explores the essence of foods and what we can do to absorb the maximum benefit from what we eat. This material reveals the true source of food’s power that goes far beyond its physical properties. How food and the mind’s energetic frequencies are interrelated will also be examined.
We’ve all been taught that “You are what you eat.” At a higher level, my master has taught me that “You are what you think.” Receiving maximum benefit from foods requires opening different channels.
Many systems talk about the mind-body connection, but unless we consider spirit’s purpose in a person’s condition, the true power of helping individuals heal for real is lost. This is the most challenging session, because it requires an open mind and heart to recognize the primacy of spirit in health and healing. This session revolves around core spiritual concepts, not religious ones. One of the fundamental concepts covered includes the fact that everything is connected. Nothing exists in isolation and why reductionism, analysis, division and distinction are blind alleys when it comes to helping patients.
At the spiritual level, there are no accidents. Understanding this principle opens us up to the deeper purpose of a patient’s condition. Other spiritual principles explored in this session allow us to create a larger understanding of health and wellness, disease and illness, with a revolutionary framework that sees things differently.
The NIH tells us that conditions of metabolic syndrome can be prevented or delayed with lifestyle changes. Yet, many integrative practitioners find diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, obesity and more, difficult and to achieve lasting results. This is because the solution requires a new paradigm. It requires one that treats the whole person—body, mind and spirit—within a framework that uses revelatory, time-tested wisdom to rebalance the patient. This session offers an in-depth exploration of a condition related to metabolic syndrome from the body, mind and spirit level.
Without an organized framework to view a patient’s condition from the body, mind and spirit levels, we miss essential clues to aspects of being that have a profound effect on the progress of his or her situation.
