The Last Full Moon of 2025

The full moon reminds us of the intensity of Universal Qi as well as our powerful and everlasting connection to the Universal. Tapping in to that power and beauty not only intensifies our own but gives us the ability to recharge, refresh, and renew. Luckily, the full moon comes once per month, giving us 12—or sometimes 13 (as we will see in 2026)—opportunities to connect. This month’s showing will peak on December 4 at 6:14 pm EST.

December’s Cold Moon is the last of three supermoons and the final full moon of 2025. Up ahead, a flurry of celestial activity helps close out the year and welcome a year of new beginnings. The Geminid meteors will reach their peak between the late hours of December 13 and the early morning hours of December 14. Just about one week later, on December 21, we celebrate the Winter solstice, which ushers in the shortest day of the year and the official first day of the Winter season. Keep your gaze upward for one additional day to take in the Ursids, the final meteor shower of the year.

Full Moon Practice

On Thursday, December 4 at 7:30PM, join our virtual December Full Moon Practice during our regularly scheduled Qi Thursday.  Slow down and connect with the energy of the full moon. In honor of this powerful moon we will be learning a new posture tonight. This Qigong form will carry us through the winter season and nurture Kidney Qi.
