Many have concerns about the impact of the Coronavirus. It’s important to take a step back and acknowledge that the body wants to thrive. With mind, body, and spirit in full cooperation your body will support you. Congratulate yourself for joining this program. It represents your desire to go inward and strengthen the cooperative relationship that’s already happening within your body. All your organs are working to help you maintain health. Each depends on the support of the mind as well. I will talk extensively about this on the opening call.
Step One: See Your Future
Have you noticed how we always connect to the future? We make lists, plan vacations, family reunions, etc. It’s a pattern you already know. I’d like you to use this skill to see your future one year from now. See yourself happy and healthy. Use your imagination. Think back to a time in your life when you were younger and felt invincible. Connect to this memory.
- Have faith, good will happen.
- Emotions, like worry, weaken the immune system.
- Know that life will continue.
- Look for the good and relate to it.
Step Two: Strengthen the Body
Good immune health depends on a balanced body. The key to creating balance is to maintain a strong digestive system. Here are a few things you can do.
While we might be enjoying warmer days, the essence of the season is still cold. Wear a coat, or sweater. No shorts, bare legs, or bare feet. Wind and cold can come in through the skin and through some of your meridians. Once this happens, you’ll probably sneeze or cough and think, “Oh I caught a cold.” And that’s exactly what happened!
Step Three: Connect to the Spiritual Level
Your life has a purpose as does the Coronavirus. Use this time to truly understand the intelligence of the body. Its innate cooperative mechanism connects to a Universal wisdom, we call Qi. Qi is your life source. Your Spirit wants you to flourish. On our calls I will talk more about this too. In the meantime, I’d like you to practice this breathing exercise.

This special breathing exercise will help you feel calm and centered. Your navel connects you to your entire ancestral line. Use this power to support you.
You’ve probably seen the Youtube video I posted last week. The techniques shown are first level, and I’d like you to practice them daily. Next, go to the Qigong section and practice the advanced movements. Watch each video carefully so you gain the most benefit. These movements will help you build better overall balance.
